Ashampoo UnInstaller, as its name points out, is meant to help you uninstall applications. That’s something you may want to do when you no longer need an application or when you want to free up some storage space for example. Ashampoo UnInstaller will help you remove any application you want and will ensure that said application does not leave anything behind. While some applications uninstall cleanly, most leave lots of junk behind. Ashampoo UnInstaller makes sure no junk is left behind. It uninstalls applications, it scans for leftovers, and it removes them if it finds any.

If the monitoring function is on, Ashampoo UnInstaller will automatically analyze new installations. If the monitoring function is off, you can manually log an installation; you can do that from the application’s start page, from the “Installations” section on its interface, or by right clicking an installer and selecting “Install with Ashampoo UnInstaller.”

Why is it important to log an application? You see, by logging an installation, Ashampoo UnInstaller can keep track of all the changes that are made to your system. When you install an application, it adds files to your hard disk, it adds values to the Registry, and so on. By logging an installation, Ashampoo UnInstaller knows what changes were made to your system; and when you want to uninstall the application, it makes sure to undo these changes. Now, if you don’t log an installation, Ashampoo UnInstaller will still try to undo all the changes that were made to your system. After it uninstalls an application, it scans for leftover files, folders, and Registry entries.

Ashampoo UnInstaller features a nice set of handy tools: a tool to defrag your hard drive, a tool to optimize the Windows Registry, a tool to manage the applications that run at startup, a tool to undelete files, and various other tools.

Ashampoo UnInstaller is free to use for a grand total of 40 days; 10 by default, an extra 30 if you request a key.

Most times, applications leave junk behind when they’re uninstalled. Use Ashampoo UnInstaller to make sure that doesn’t happen. This application can monitor installations, uninstall applications, and remove all leftovers.

Pros

The system requirements for running Ashampoo UnInstaller are quite low; a simple setup wizard will help you install the application on your Windows PC. The interface provides support for skins and it provides support for multiple languages. Install applications via Ashampoo UnInstaller, uninstall applications by using Ashampoo UnInstaller. This application makes sure that uninstalled applications don’t leave anything behind. Ashampoo UnInstaller provides access to multiple tools that will help you keep your PC running smoothly.

Cons

None that I could think of.
